Can Solaris 10 Critical Patch Update OCT 2016 proceed with XSCFU marked Degraded on M4000?

Hello guys,

I have a planned patch deployment to apply the Critical Patch Update OCT 2016 on a M4000 which was installed with Solaris 10 and has several guest zones built on. However the XSCFU on the M4000 has been reported Degraded for some time, though anything else work fine llke XSCF commands execution and console login etc.

Must I have the XSCFU issue fixed (either by clearing the fault or by physically replacing it) before the patch job can commence? In another word, is there any risk if I don't fix the issue while go patching, eg does any patch inside CPUOCT16 has dependencies on XSCFU ie the patch quits if it detects XSCFU is Degraded?

Howdy, Stranger!
