Generate 1-line PO's, grouped by Item, from single Sales Order?

Hello;

Exploring options for some of our drop-ship Suppliers... one has asked us if we could perhaps send them single-line/single-item PO's, instead of multi-line/multi-item PO's. 

For example:

S.O. Line 1 = 10 clocks:  Sourcing logic determines Ajax Supplier

S.O. Line 2 = 5 brooms:  Sourcing logic determines Ajax Supplier

S.O. Line 3 = 12 pencils:  Sourcing logic determines Zebra Supplier

Today when Requisition Import jobs are run, 2 PO's will get created -- A single PO to Ajax (containing 2 lines, for the 10 clocks and 5 brooms) and a single PO to Zebra (for the pencils.)

We'd like to see whether we could have this Sales Order situation spawn 3 unique PO's instead:  1 PO would still go to Zebra for the pencils/SO Line 3, but then 2 unique, single-line PO's would go to Ajax:  A single PO for just the clocks/SO Line 1, and a single PO for just the brooms/SO Line 2.
