Investigating Tape backup bottleneck

Hi guys

May you help identify where I may be having issues with a backup that is taking long (700GB taking 35hrs) to write to an LTO4 tape on an SL24 tape library.

I tried new tapes but no changes.

When I investigated IO issues using the following command # iostat -xpn 5, I noticed the following

Disks from which backup is taken are 77% busy

Tape writing is 15% busy
