PO Created with 3-Way Match against BPA with 2-way match

Hi,

We have created a requisition against a 2-Way matched BPA, which has created a PO that is 3-way matched. The supplier is set up as 3-way, but the requisition and PO should take the controls from the BPA. Can anyone provide a possible reason as to whey this is occuring?
