Existing PO price is being overwritten by new quoted price when line maintenance is performed
PO 123 was created with a price of 3.58 .
The quotation was updated a month later to reflect a price of 3.55.
When the buyer changed the quantity on that line, it overwrote the original price of 3.58 with 3.55 from the updated quote.
This creates issues in our business because we may have renegotiated pricing but only to take effect for NEW purchase orders, not existing, open ones.
1) Is this normal Oracle functionality?
2) Can this be halted with a configuration setting or forms personalization?
3) if this can be fixed, please provide specifics on how to do this?
