I had received the pending inventory transaction with the below error

|There must be a valid blanket purchase agreement in effect for the item you wish to transact. (SuppName=APPLIED INDUSTRIAL TECHNOLOGIES) (SiteCode=B2B)

I had found the for the associated item at the BPA PO line level there was EXPIRATION DATE.

I had removed the error by removing the expiration date and resubmitting the transaction.

could some one let me know the root cause of the issue
