Purchase order status changing to closed for receiving from pending for approval

Hi Team

I am doing procurement & inventory set up for a new instance. I have created PO for Inventory item & submitted it.

My purchase order status changing to "closed for receiving" from "Pending for approval" without showing "Open" status.

I can not create any receipt as its directly going to Closed for receiving.

Could you please tell me why its happening.
