Audit trail on approval setup in PO

Hi,

we would like to enable full audit trail on all setup related to approvals in PO including vacation rules setup, i.e. it should be possible to go back and see what approval authorities were defined for any user at any point in time (typical question that might be raised by the external auditor). Does anyone have any suggestion how to best solve this requirement? I'm a bit surprised this is not standard functionality in EBS.
