APEX 5 Login problems via ORDS 3.0.12/tomcat [resolved]

Hello,

we struggle with a strange problem. Connecting to the main APEX login page via ORDS 3.0.12 running under tomcat6 with java-oracle-1.7.0 works, but every try to login fails with a red box in the upper-right corner labeled with "3 errors occurred".

Connecting to the same APEX instance locally via EPG works fine and the login to INTERNAL or some other workspace works without problems too.

I cannot see inside the tomcat catalina.log that there's any problem which prevents the APEX login. Because the main login page can be reached, I assume the problem is not on ORDS site located, but I'm unsure.
