E-Signature Lot Master

I have some questions regarding vanilla functionality for e-signature.

1. When the e-signature screen is activated is the user id blank?

2. In the e-sig screen for the first time during an active session of JDE, when the user id is entered, password verification is successful and record is saved the lot record is updated and the e-sig screen is exited. The next time going into the e-sig to update a record while still in the same JDE session, is the user id populated?

3. How many attempts with an incorrect password can be made before the record is locked?
