Cisco SIP Phone registering to an SBC

Is it possible (if so can somebody point me to the documentation) to use an SBC as a Survivable Gateway type device for Cisco SIP phones.fice

Idea.
Small remote office using for example an SBC 1100 to take outbound lines and send SIP up to the Corporate  CUCM.
Cisco SIP phones registered back to the CUCM.
WAN goes down.
Cisco SIP phones register back to the SBC
Inbound calls will still complete to the local pones.
