Hi,

I'm trying to understand what information is provided by "cat /etc/release". I have this currently:

bash-3.2# cat /etc/release

                      Solaris 10 10/09 s10s_u8wos_08a SPARC

Copyright 2009 Sun Microsystems, Inc.  All Rights Reserved.

Use is subject to license terms.

                           Assembled 16 September 2009

                  Solaris 10 1/13 (Update 11) Patchset applied.

Oracle DBA could not install software and this is the message he got:

Expected result: One of 5.11,5.9,5.10 Update Versions for 5.10 : One of u9wos Actual Result: 5.10 Update Version : u8wos Check complete. The overall result of this check is: Failed

So, how do I get to u9wos?

Howdy, Stranger!
