KIT items and ST/OT

Hello Friends,

I am trying to create a ST/OT transaction for KIT item and I could do the transaction successfully in E9.2 env with tool release 9.2.3. But in all Oracle standard documentation i saw that ST/OT transaction does not support KIT item. I want to understand why Oracle is saying it is not supported when i could complete the transaction without any issue. I could get all the KIT components got depleted from Stock from  from Branch plant and all Component items got increase in To branch Plant. However, on OT side during purchaser receipt i have to make receipt of
