Database Restores Deleted Auto-sign-in Wallet

Hi,

I use a wallet with auto-sign-in enabled to perform nightly exports from a 12c 12.2.0.1 database server.  The wallet contains several credentials of instances that no longer exist.  I have deleted these credentials from the wallet and added a new credential and run my export script without any issue but when I check the wallet afterwards the deleted credentials are present and the added credential is absent.  I have tried deleted the wallet and creating a new one from scratch but the same thing happens: after the export script runs the old credentials are in the wallet and the new
