Approve blanket purchase agreement

Hello,

In R12.2.5, we want to modify a blanket purchase agreement at specific date.

For example, buyer modify BPA 25-Nov-2019 at 12h00 and the BPA is auto-approved at 30-Nov-2019 at 00h00. So we decided to customize the approval workflow to wait until the specific date.

Our problem is between the modification by the buyer and the approval of the BPA (5 days), the BPA is not approved and we can't create standard purchase order from this BPA.

Is there a way to modify BPA without approval and to use it for create standard PO ?

What is the best way to modify BPA but not approve it immediately ?
