Linux: cannot register server with uln_register

I want to re-register a linux yum server at linux-update.oracle.com. I have deleted the server at the ULN and I have also dropped the /etc/sysconfig/rhn/systemid.

When I register that server using uln_register I end up with "The SSL certificate failed verification"

The OS version is OL7.9
