DCS-10045 Available Memory is less than SGA Size Error on registering database

Hi,

We were migrating a database to our ODA (X7-2m running release 19.8) last night and hit this issue.


[root@rhmodap1 ONBASE_MIG]# odacli register-database -c OLTP -no-co -s odb2 -t SI -sn ONBASE.SUHTAD.SWEST.NHS.UK

Password for SYS:

DCS-10045:Validation error encountered: Available Memory is less than SGA Size { Available : 7884mb and SGA Size : 8192mb }.

You have new mail in /var/spool/mail/root

[root@rhmodap1 ONBASE_MIG]# free -g

total used free shared buff/cache available

Mem: 376 224 8 4 143 142

Swap: 23 0 23


'Free' memory WAS less than the SGA size we had specified, but this looks like a bug to me.
