Cannot login to Essbase Weblogic with Microsoft Active Directory on JDK 1.8.331 or above version

We installed Essbase 21.3 Independent Deployment on Windows. We plan to integrate Essbase WebLogic to Use Microsoft Active Directory for authentication (not EPM Shared Service).

After integration of Essbase weblogic with Microsoft Active Directory (MSAD) (ref: https://docs.oracle.com/en/database/other-databases/essbase/21/essoa/integrate-weblogic-use-microsoft-active-directory.html ), we have the following problems.

1. Weblogic Administrator cannot login Essbase (http://<servername>:9000/essbase/jet/login.html).

Error: You are not authorized to access this page. Contact administrator.

2. We cannot assign Essbase service administrator role to MSAD users.

The curl command errors with message "error.during.find.user".

3. No accounts can login Essbase. 

Is there any advice on how to proceed?
