Impact on historical data when assigning BSV for the first time to an existing Legal Entity

Scenario: The ledger and legal entity were defined with no balancing segments and have been in use for several years, many transactions have been created. Now want to add the balancing segments that were used on the historical transactions to new legal entities defined in the existing ledger. What will the impact be on the existing transactions?
