What is the purpose of Pay Class (SALY) on a Pay Type definition (DISO = 'P')

EnterpriseOne Version 9.2

Databrowsing the F069116 PDBA Master, a Pay Type has its SALY (Pay Class) = "S". The TRPF value (Calc for All EEs) is blank since obviously this is intended for DBAs only, not for Pay Types.

Therefore

a) What is the impact if any, of a Pay Type definition with its SALY value not equal to blank?

b) On what P059116 form is this SALY value updated for a Pay Type (DISO = "P")
