Why do I keep getting prompted to re-login when moving from a Java application to a web application

Hello everyone,

I'm encountering an issue in Oracle EBS R12 where each time I navigate from a function or menu in the Java application to a web page, I'm prompted to re-login repeatedly. Is there a profile option available that can extend the session timeout or address this problem?
