Why does P6 v22.12 closes when assigning baseline

Every time I attempt to assign the baseline to a current schedule, P6 professional v22.12 fails to respond and closes itself down. Once I re-login again, the baseline shows in the maintain baseline window and ready to be assigned as project baseline.

Did anyone come across this issue and how to resolve please
