oratop failing when scheduled through cron/at

I am trying to schedule oratop from cron/at but it is failing with a strange error

Error:FIFO(pipe) is not supported.

I am using below command which is running absolutely fine from putty terminal but failing from cron with above error.

If anybody has faced this issue and resolve please help me with this issue.

/bin/tfactl analyze -comp oratop -bn1 -database $dbname -f >output.log
