Managed Instances Grayed Out After SSL Certificate Renewal in Server Manager

  • JD Edwards EnterpriseOne on Linux
  • Server Manager Console and Agents
  • WebLogic for JAS/AIS/Mobile/BSSV components
  • SSL/TLS enabled for Server Manager and Web components

What We Did (Full Procedure):

We renewed SSL certificates (old certs expiring in 2026, new certs valid until 2028) and followed these steps:

Step 1: Copy New Keystore

cp /u10/e1/wls/ssl/star_xxx_com.jks /u02/oracle/keystore

Step 2: SSL Tasks on Deployment Server (Server Manager)

  • List old cert validity:
keytool -list -v -alias server \  -keystore <JDK_PATH>/lib/security/cacerts \  -storepass **** -noprompt | findstr "Valid from"

  • Delete old alias:
keytool -delete -alias server \  -keystore <JDK_PATH>/lib/security/cacerts \  -storepass **** -noprompt
