How do we open documents via Doc ID?

Many guides reference Oracle Documents/Notes with the "Document 1311068.1" or "Doc ID 888.1". How do we access these documents in the new portal? Everytime I click a link to one in a guide or Google search it just takes me to the new portal page. If I try to search for the document ID in the new portal page it only shows me articles and documents that reference the Doc ID but not the actual document itself.
