How to derive Actual Component Cost based on certain % of Top assembly in disassembly process
We have a scenario where Top assembly tear down in disassembly process . Certain salvaged components are replenished into inventory as part of tier down. Business is allocating actual cost to components on the basis of certain percentage of cost of top assembly
For eg : \
Engine ( Top assembly) have $1000 cost
- Engine Block 50% $500
- Cylinder head 15% $150
- Piston 10% $100
- Crankshaft 10% $100
- Spark plug 5% $50
- Camshaft 10% $100
Component Cost is Actual Cost .
