EM24ai: Question about upgrades and Holistic patch

The EM documentation explains how when upgrading EM to 24ai, you can do a software only install and then follow it up with applying the latest RU before the OMS is actually upgraded. Doing it this way reduces your EM downtime.

My question: can we apply the EM Holistic bundle in a similar fashion? There is a MOS note on applying the RU during the upgrade. Is there a similar note for the Holistic patch.
