Oracle Analytics Publisher Desktop correct version for E-Business

Hi, I'm following note KA1227 to setup a new PC with OAP Desktop, however the note appears out of date (last changed 2023) - it refers to version 7.0.0, whereas versions 7.6.0 and 8.2.0 are now available. Must I use 7.0.0 to be compatible with E-Business template development or can I go for 8.2.0 (or 7.6.0 if 8.2.0 doesn't work)?
