Picklist number is getting blanked out when cancel the order through shipment confirmation applicati

When we try to cancel one sales order though shipment confirmation application (P4205), pickslip number is getting removed from F4211. Can any body support if there is any possibility to keep pickslip number (PSN) even after the cancellation of the line order.
