I am trying to cancel an Invoice that had a payment that was voided but cannot cancel

I am trying to cancel an Invoice that had a payment that was voided but cannot cancel.I get a message that you cannot cancel the Invoice as it is matched to a Finally closed PO. I opened the PO and the status has now changed to Open but still am getting the same message when I try and cancel the Invoice
