Question on Primavera - 26.1 upgrade.

Hi Folks,

We have upgraded ONLY Staging to 26.1. Production is still on version 25.10 and will be upgraded once Staging environment testing is completed.

One of our Admin super user - AdminXX has received a prompt to upgrade thick client from 25.10 to 26.1 and thick client is now upgraded to 26.1 (P6 Professional 26).

For AdminXX below observations have been done -

  • Thick client shows version 26.1 (P6 Professional 26)
  • P6 EPPM Staging shows 26.1
  • P6 EPPM Production shows 25.10 ( this is OK as we have NOT upgraded the Production yet)

Can someone please explain why / how thick client was upgraded to Profession 26 just for AdminXX ? We have the installable for version 25.10. Should he just re-install that ? Also, this is the ONLY user where thick client upgrade prompt appeared. Other super admins have not received the prompt to upgrade the client. We have just migrated to Oracle cloud and would be great to receive some insights on this issue.
