How to set up an earnings code with a multification factor of 0.5x for OBBBA

Can someone share how they set up an overtime premium earnings code (to capture only the 0.5x rate of overtime) for OBBBA? Our time and labor rules were modified to change the way overtime is reported. With the change, came the need for new earnings codes. The earnings code created for the premium portion of overtime (0.5x rate) is not accurately calculating the weighted blended average for employees with shift diff, etc. The new code correctly shows 0.5x the regular rate on the paycheck, but the rate never changes to account for the blended rate.
