Announcing Oracle Solaris 11.4 SRU89

We’ve just released the Oracle Solaris 11.4 SRU89, the January 2026 CPU.

It is available via ‘pkg update’ from the support repository or by downloading the SRU from (KB631614" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener ugc">KB631614).

The following components have been updated to address security issues:

  • Wireshark to 4.6.2
  • Firefox to 140.6.0esr
  • Thunderbird to 140.6.0esr
  • Unbound to 1.24.2
  • Apache Web Server to 2.4.66
  • Upgrade OpenSSH to 10.2
  • Django 4.2 to 4.2.27
  • Django 5.2 to 5.2.9
  • Upgrade squid to 7.3
