UDC 41/S1 - activate 2nd description

Hello,

We are on JDE 9.2 release 24. We have a recent need to activate the 2nd description field for UDC 41/S1. Our testing in PY has been successful. Can we activate the 2nd description in PD at anytime? Any potential issues or consideration? Does it require a cache clear once active? Did not require cache clear in our PY test, but perhaps no issue as not a lot of concurrent activity?
