u01/app/odaorabase0 on X10-HA showing incorrect space used

in Oracle Database Appliance (ODA) (MOSC) 3 commentsAnswered

Hello

on our X10- HA on second node we are seeing this discprepancy

[root]# df -h |grep /u01/app/odaorabase0
/dev/asm/odabase_n0-464 10G 9.7G 333M 97% /u01/app/odaorabase0

it is showuing 9.7 GB used out of 10 GB

we are getting alerted due to this since its almost 100% full

But when we look into that directory we see different numbers[root]# pwd
/u01/app/odaorabase0
[root odaorabase0]# du -h --max-depth=1 | sort -n
2.1G .
2.1G ./oracle
64K ./lost+found

it keeps showing used space to be only 2.1 GB

Can you please help us understand this anomaly and how to address this situation
