Is Azure AD SAML Integration with WebLogic and OAS Certified from Peoplesoft?

Hello Oracle Community,

We are planning to use the following authentication architecture for Oracle Analytics Server (OAS) and would like to confirm support guidance:

Current proposed Design:

  • Azure AD (Microsoft Entra ID) as a SAML 2.0 Identity Provider (IdP)
  • WebLogic Server as the Service Provider (SP), validating SAML assertions from Azure AD
  • OAS relies on WebLogic for authentication
  • Authorization is performed via our on-premises Active Directory

In this setup, Azure AD handles authentication, WebLogic validates assertions and establishes the session, and OAS consumes the authenticated identity.

Could someone confirm if this SAML-based architecture (Azure AD → WebLogic → OAS, with on-prem AD for authorization) is officially supported and certified by Oracle for production use? Any pointers to documentation, limitations, or required configurations would be greatly appreciated.
