Asset w/child assets retired, Child assets moved to disposed while parent asset shows in-service

We retired of a vehicle with child assets this past November. we ran the processes necessary to remove the assets from our books, while the child assets' status moved to disposed the parent asset (the vehicle) remains showing as in-service. Is there an error or process we should check to see why the parent asset did not move to fully disposed?
