Actual Cost Process not using Lot Cost of ingredients when calculating product cost
Dear experts,
We have configured two cost types:
- LOTCOST (Lot Cost method) — for one raw material ingredients
- PMAC (Actual Cost, Period Moving Average) — for finished products
Environment:
- Oracle EBS R12.2
- OPM Cost Management (GMF)
Raw materials (ingredients) are registered in Lot Cost Items window and Lot Cost Process has been run successfully. Each ingredient lot has its own unique lot cost calculated correctly in LOT cost type. However, when the Actual Cost Process runs for the finished product under cost type PMAC, the Actual Cost Transactions View shows that ingredient costs used in batch calculations are coming from the Actual Cost (averaged)
