In an EXADATA Environment - Added Alternative Dest for RECO

Hi Team,

In a production environment i have encountered a concern where when the ASM DISK +RECO environment was full it has added to additional DEST automatically to the oracle database 19c environment. also note that i have implemented the dataguard broker to this oracle database 19c but it had only one DEST environment mapped.

is this normal practise of dataguard broker to use a fail safe situation to add an alternative location to create redo/archives?

If this is a feature in oracle database dataguard broker how to cancel this or make it default not to activate such fail safe senario in the system.
