Expenditure Item Date
Hey all, We are soon going live with Project Accounting, however we have PO's that were created prior to Project Accounting going-live and will need to update the PO distribution lines. PO's will have creation dates in Dec-25, Jan-26, Feb-26, Mar-26, Apr-26, May-26. Projecting Accounting first period will be Jan-26. Can someone please answer the questions below:
- For PO's created in Dec-25, do we use EID of XX-Jan-26 but prior to expenditure ending date?
2. For PO's created Jan-26 to go live do we use PO Creation date as EID?
3. If we create a PO on say 02-Jun-2026 and use the creation date as the EID in PO line distribution but the goods/services don't' arrive until the 15-Aug-26 and we receipt the PO on that date, will this cause an issue? The EID will be in a prior PA period which will have been closed?
