When updating the Customer Account Profile Class is there a way to limit what gets updated?

Per Business Requirements, Account Level Profile values can be Customer specific such as Collector and Credit Limit ie multiple Customers can have the same Account Level Profile Class assigned however each Customer with a given Profile Class does not have the same 'default' Collector or Credit Limit. When updating the Account Level Profile Class for a Customer a warning is displayed that selecting a new Profile Class will also update other Profile Values such as Collector Name, Rates, Limits etc.

Is there a way to update the Profile Class Name without updating other Provile Values?
