Experience with adop Error: "ERROR File adkeystore.dat does not exist"

I am sharing my experience with an issue I recently encountered while applying a patch in EBS 12.2.14 (DB version 19c RU29).

It may seem simple to many, but for me, it not only took additional time to resolve, but it also impacted my ability to complete the task on schedule. It wasn't an easy fix.. :)

⇒Environment Details:
EBS Version: 12.2.14
Database Version: 19c RU29
Test Instance appsTier Directory: /u01
Production Instance appsTier Directory: /d01

⇒The Issue:

During the patch application process on test instance, I encountered the following error:

adop apply completed with the following error (Lines #54302-54306):
Jar Sign mode is set as KEYSTORE.
