Question on Effect on FLSA
Our HR Department is asking a question about FLSA Overtime:
The earning codes have differing FLSA Categories (Regular or Excluded), but the Same Effect on FLSA (Amounts Only).
They spot-checked a few examples where FLSA Category was “Excluded” and found the OT rate was appropriately applying the amounts in the rate.
Is the Effect on FLSA category the true driver for OT calcs?
