Credit Memo of Previous period Invoice with accounting Rule

If i Have AR Invoice in April with accounting Rule in Advance for 3 months non Deferred. But in May i need to Credit Memo this Invoice, is it possible to do it using Actions-Credit?

i have tried it but when i see the credit lines, the rules start date is same with invoice (April)

and when i click complete, it shows error "AR_APP_PARTIAL_REV".

i do have setup profiles AR: Use Invoice Accounting For Credit Memos "Yes"
