Unable to View Future‑Dated EFFDT Rows on Department Page After Upgrade to PUM 52

in Human Resources and ELM - PSFT (MOSC) Question

Hello everyone,We recently upgraded to PeopleSoft HCM PUM Image 52, and since the upgrade we are no longer able to view future‑dated EFFDT rows on the Department Table. Prior to the upgrade, the page displayed all rows, including future EFFDT rows, without any issues.

The problem began immediately after the upgrade.

Navigation:NavBar → Menu → HCM → Set Up HCM → Foundation Tables → Organization → Departments

Our developer identified that during the upgrade, the delivered menu configuration for the SETUP_HRMS menu was updated. Specifically:

  • The system re‑delivered the search record PS_DEPT_SRCH on the menu item tied to the PS_DEPARTMENT_TBL component.
