Is it possible to enable reuse or disassociation of email/username from terminated records in Oracle
In Oracle Unifier, email addresses (which serve as usernames) remain reserved even after the associated contact or solicitation record has been terminated. This prevents reuse of the same email for future vendor interactions.
Is there a way to allow controlled disassociation or release of email/username from terminated records, or to permit reuse of email addresses when prior records are inactive, while still preserving historical audit data?
Currently, the only workaround is to replace the email in terminated records with a dummy value, which introduces operational challenges such as misdirected system emails, dependency on manual coordination, and increased administrative overhead.
