ESS Installation without effect of existing soa

in Oracle SOA Suite (MOSC) Question

Oracle Enterprise Manager (Fusion Middleware Control 12c):

  • we have a SOA Suite domain running on WebLogic 12c.
  • ESS (Enterprise Scheduler Service) is not installed/configured, so no ESS Scheduler appears in EM.
  • we need now time-based job scheduling (10, 60, 240 minutes interval) for SOA services.
  • we want information for this scenario.
    • Install ESS in UAT WebLogic domain safely (without impacting existing SOA setup)
    • Understand process, pros & cons
    • if it requires SR i will raise a professional SR (Service Request) template for Oracle Support.
    • Enterprise Scheduler Service (ESS) is part of SOA Suite 12c or do we have to get a separate license
