Subledger merge - is it possible?

Voucher with Z type subledger is imported in E1 from other system , and JE is made with Z type subledger (defined as C-Alphanumeric, right justify, blank fill ) in E1. As the result subledger is not 0 instead two seperate records appear DR and CR

How to match those entries so balance is zero? Can I somehow merge subledgers?

As far as I understand in that case is better to use type X subledger in future?
