HCM Extract Stuck in Pending State When Scheduled —Ad Hoc Run Succeeds —ESS Scheduler Not Triggering

in HCM - JDE1 (MOSC) Question

We have a scheduled HCM Extract that is getting stuck in Pending state and never progresses to In Progress or Completed. The extract has been scheduled with a recurring schedule but the ESS scheduler is simply not picking it up and triggering the flow at the scheduled time.

Key Observations:

  1. Ad Hoc Run Succeeds Completely
    When we manually trigger the same extract as an ad hoc run, it executes successfully end to end without any errors. All tasks complete, output is generated, and delivery options work as expected. This confirms there is absolutely no issue with:
    • The Extract Definition
    • The Fast Formulas used in Criteria or Data Elements
