Is there a way to prevent an Ex-employee being rehired prior to final process date?

Hello,

I understand current functionality in HCM allows a rehire prior to the final process date.

Years back, there used to be an error pop up with a message.

This intended functionality has recently created issues on some vendor interfaces due to the second assignment now created. Also, our business practice does not support second assignments.

I've been asked to log an SR but I thought I'd ask here first to see if there is any way to have the system thrown an error when attempting this action so the user would be aware of the final process date.
